A little over a year ago my 94 year old mother became ill and had to go into a nursing home. We weren't ready to sell the house but I wanted to get an idea of what the value was. I did a search for a Coldwell-Banker branch near our house. I chose them because my realtor in Evanston, Illinois, where I live, had been with them. I spoke to someone on the phone who said she understood that I wasn't ready to sell, but she would be happy to come over and give me a rough estimate, no pressure. Oh, and she would bring her partner. Elizabeth was (and still is) the partner. I was very impressed with both of them, but I really liked Elizabeth. She seemed to know exactly what I needed at the time and was very helpful, even though the likelihood of getting a listing was pretty much nill. Throughout the past year I would hear from Elizabeth occasionally, asking me how things were, and reminding me that she was there to help me when and if I needed it. When my mother passed away last April, I contacted Elizabeth and got the ball rolling. We listed the house about a month later, and in less than two weeks we had a signed contract. She is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and I am very grateful to her for getting me through this difficult process. Thank you Elizabeth.
